Well, not exactly home quite yet but on US soil and will be sleeping in his own bed very soon.

3. Plant trees in my backyard.
4. Serve lunch at a shelter.
5. Do a flip turn in the pool.
6. Go to the zoo.
7. Pick a light out for the kitchen.
8. Build a compost container.
9. Make a rain barrel.
10. Learn how to use a chainsaw.
11. Ride a tandem bicycle.
12. Water ski.
13. Go to Splash Cove with Andrew.
14. Organize the pictures on my computer...and back them up.
15. Wax my car.
16. Go to a drive in movie.
17. Take a walk in the pouring rain.
18. Learn to play a song on the piano.
19. Do another triathlon.
20. Ride another century.
21. Ride the entire Katy Trail again.
22. Catch a big fish with my Dad.
23. See Van Morrison live.
24. Pay my last payment on my last credit card.
25. Take a photography class.
26. Go 48 hours without my cell phone. (not while on vacation)
27. Go 48 hours without my laptop. (same)
28. Go a week without the TV.
29. Race my single.
30. Run 3 miles without walking.
31. Take my dogs to the dog park.
32. Attend a holiday service at church.
33. Bake a decent loaf of bread....from scratch.
34. Sew something.
35. Finish another Holiday Challenge
36. Camp with Andrew.
37. Paint a picture.
38. Race a double with Ed. (And we won!!)
39. Fly a kite.
40. Take and post 1 picture a day for 1 month.
41. Stay at Cruses Cabooses.
42. Sell something on Ebay.
43. Empty one side of the attic.

44. Go to the dentist.
45. Ride in a hot air balloon.
46. Stay in my jammies all day and watch movies.

My hat is off to Ed!!! Thank you for serving. And Donna (Ed's wife)...I have such love and admiration for you. Did Jenn tell you about Melanie? "I am radiant light?" THANKS DONNA!!! And thanks Jenn for being there for us too. Oh BTW I love the new layout on your blog. How did you get that picture up there I wanna try that!!! Love you.
Thanks for this post, Jenn. We're home and trying to settle back into life as usual. We've actually done a lot of lazing around, followed by a killer nap, and then more of a whole lot of nothin'! All good!!!
Bec...love to you and your clan. Jenn told me about Mel's radiant light experience. I received that mantra from a friend many years ago as I was getting ready for my first date with my now-husband. I decided that the mantra worked so well...that it was worth keeping...and sharing! Spread the light!
