Soup Today...Cookies Tomorrow

Tis the season for much time spent in the kitchen...cooking, baking and washing dishes.
Today was our annual Petty Christmas with my Mom's side of the family. We always bring soups and other treats, have a great white elephant exchange, share some books and just enjoy each other for a few hours.
Thanks to the Craig's (Dan, Carrie, Owen and Joe) for hosting.
As Manda just said "Our family is hilarious."

And just a note...those are clean dishes...waiting to be put away by my house slave :-)

If you can't laugh around your family, who can you laugh with? The description of your folding the teeny tiny clothes was worth the trip. How did your pictures come out? I posted what we got. The battery died and we only got about 80% of the people.

She's pretty easy to please...just keep chocolate around and participate in a puppy pile every once in while and she'll be content. I miss those days when Manda mom and I would cuddle up on the couch together. It's the simple things in life;)

Mom and I cuddled up on the couch at Carrie's Christmas party while everyone seemed to be leaving...then Kim, Jenn, Carrie, Dan, Mom, the Boys and I all did a lil yoga in their living room just for fun. You and Keith would have been laughing yourselves to tears! Miss you sis!
